About Us

From humble beginnings,Organic Pen Island didn't just start out as the blossoming business that it is now known to be.

It once was a mere dream, a brain baby of our founder and creator Megan McGuinness.

Some thought Megan was stubborn, a fool, however she refused to take 'no' for an answer when shot down by banks, peers and family members. 

She decided to think outside of the box, she thought.. Shopify! (Which ironically enough was located within the flat-ish box that was her laptop screen)

Today, spreading veganism and gluten free stationary isn't Megan's sole passion. 

While growing her business, Megan realised that there was one thing missing, she was isolated, alone, she knew she wanted to be a part of something bigger, to become a part of the Shopify Guru community.

With all of her expertise in building sites, using MS paint to create wondering backgrounds, infographs and logos, using google to figure out how to do the drop-down menu thing... she knew her purpose was to lend a helping hand, she was going to Shopify until she dropify'd.
